Removing a policyholder

Removing a main policyholder

When you want to remove a main policyholder, you will need to cancel and redo a policy with the new details. This is because the policy and all the details associated with that policy are set up for that specific person.

To cancel a policy, we need permission from the main policyholder.

After that, simply go through the quote process and set up the house, contents and/or car in your name.

Removing a joint policyholder

If you are wanting to remove a joint policyholder, we will also need permission from them to do this. However, this process does not require you to set up a new policy as we can remove their name from the existing policy.
